Orders

How do I place an order on AfricaTrade?

Create an account, browse our product catalog, add desired items to cart, then proceed to payment. You will receive a confirmation email with order tracking.

Can I modify my order after placing it?

You can modify your order within 2 hours of validation, before the supplier processes it. Contact our support via chat for any modifications.

How do I cancel an order?

Cancellation is free as long as the supplier has not shipped. After shipping, fees may apply. Our support team will assist you with all procedures.

Shipping

What are the delivery times?

Delivery times vary by destination: 2-5 days for domestic, 7-14 days for West Africa, 10-21 days for rest of Africa. Real-time GPS tracking is available.

Which countries do you deliver to?

We deliver to 12 African countries: Cameroon, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, DRC, South Africa, Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping fees depend on weight, volume and destination. A calculator is available at checkout. Shipping is free for orders over 500,000 FCFA.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept: Visa/Mastercard cards, Mobile Money (Orange Money, MTN MoMo, Wave), CEMAC/UEMOA bank transfers, and PayPal for international payments.

Are my payments secure?

Absolutely. We use an Escrow system: your payment is protected until you receive conforming goods. Bank-level SSL encryption and PCI-DSS compliance.

How do I get my invoice?

Invoices are automatically generated and sent by email after each order. You can also download them from your customer dashboard.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

You have 14 days after receipt to return a non-conforming product. The product must be in its original condition. Return shipping is covered by the supplier if the product is defective.

How do I request a refund?

Log into your account, go to the order in question and click "Request a return". Our team will verify your request within 48h and process the refund within 5-7 business days.

How do I create an account?

Click "Sign up", fill in the form with your email and password. Verify your email and complete your profile. Registration is free and takes less than 2 minutes.

How do I secure my account?

Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) in your account settings. Use a strong and unique password. Never share your credentials.

Suppliers

How do I become a supplier on AfricaTrade?

Register as a supplier, submit your legal documents (business registration, tax number) and business references. Our team verifies your application within 7 days.

What are the verification criteria?

We verify: legal existence of the company, tax documents, minimum 3 business references, and transaction history if available. 65% of applications are rejected to ensure quality.
